    You do realize...

...that because of this "Adventures of Puddlenaut" must now become a real game?

Anyway, I really have nothing bad to say about this. It was original, it was creative, it was well choreographed, and above all it was entertaining. Music was too quiet, but I presume that's something to do with trimming down the file size. I give 5 and 9, and I'll now be adding you to my very short list of favorite Flash artists.

    Burger donut!

Art: Distinctly Jazz, as always. Nice picture of you. Clouds were a tad pixelated.
Animation: seemed a little choppy. You should try throwing in some tweens just for the frame-by-frame work.
Style: also distinctly Jazz. Change nothing.
Story: added some useful information about the Necropolis universe; bonus points for re-introducing the Cassidy brothers and Kiara. Still wondering if you'll bring back Kayle.
Sound: still a little muffled. You need a proper recording station at some point.

Overall: good fare. Deserves a slot on Adult Swim. Also, BURGER DONUT!

And burger donuts make everything better :D

    Thoroughly enjoyed this

Art: nothing drawn, but the costume counts. And you did a good job - looked very 1950's.
Cinematography: generally shots were well-placed, although a few of the angles seemed a bit shallow for the amount of drama involved.
Style: an excellent mock-up of classic science fiction films. As for the video format, no worries; what matters is that it's creative content (which YouTube is not known for). Also, loved the unseen faces at the end.
Story: a little incomplete, as it's not entirely clear what the alien visitor was doing there, but as far as drama and suspense you did well.
Sound: excellent work; accompanied the piece perfectly.

Overall: loved it; would like to see more video content of this caliber on Newgrounds. 5/5, 9/10.

This is the future...of good cartoons

Art: top-notch quality. Not only is everything clean and neat, but everything fits together - none of it looks out of place.
Animation: Equally above standard. All that frame-by-frame work must have been a pain...come to think of it, I'm almost jealous.
Style: are you kidding? This stuff screams style, visually and mentally alike. No one else has anything quite like this, which in a day and age of the most unoriginal stuff ever seen on TV is very refreshing.
Story: killer, and complete with well-established background. Everything flowed, the characters were believable, and even the nonsensical parts somehow made their own kind of sense.
Sound: definitely an improvement over TC 2 and 3 - but really that never bothered me before. Cookies to Tom for upping your filesize limit, though. Music also fit perfectly with the scenes; I find that impressive.

Overall: long story short...Shrike and company need their own show. A budget, a full studio crew, the whole shebang. It would be one of the best animated series in years.

Final score: 10/10, 5/5, and a new favorite artist. Props.

    Splendid work

Art: splendid job on the characters, and the backgrounds are well done too. Consistent with your technique in the past. (Boondocks with swords. :P )
Animation: smooth, fluid, and nothing too unbelievable. A little off kilter on the speed - some things were too slow, others a bit too fast, but well done as a whole.
Style: about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the face. No one does what you do in the way you do it, and that's part of what makes your work so appealing.
Story: enjoyed it. Those who pay attention to what you have to say know you were aiming for a different take from Devilslayer - something not so clear-cut on who was the good guy. I'd say you pulled it off.
Sound: needed some cleanup. There were some pretty funky muffles and echoes across the board.

Overall: awesome re-emergence for you and the Necropolis team. I look forward to the next episode.

    Score: 5/5, 9/10.

Would not have given this first

Art: very detailed - so detailed, in fact, that I had to see past the detail to find the crosshair faces. I couldn't tell what Hank was fighting with until halfway through the movie. Simplify.
Animation: smooth, dynamic, basically what I expect of an action Flash. But I almost couldn't tell, for the following reason...
Style: "dynamic camera" movement was so distracting, I almost got ADD grafted into my brain (with epilepsy arriving shortly thereafter from all the jumpy frame action). I could barely follow what was going on right in front of my face. Also, 3-D bullet was inconsistent.
    Audio: well done. No complaints.
    Story: Standard Madness plot.

Overall: Entirely too complicated visually. You are clearly talented, but you pushed this Flash past reasonable limits, resulting in a mediocre product. Next time put the syrup on the pancakes, and not the other way around.

Grade: 2/5, 4/10. Congrats on the win, though.

    Solid contender

This is the only Madness '09 Flash I have rated above a 3 thus far. You captured the true essence of Madness in this collab. 9/10, 5 Picos.

    I liked it

Art: pretty good for a Flash. One drawback - when she says "But what?" I can't separate her body from the background. You needed a lighter color.
Animation: minimal, but well done and effectively used. Bonus points for the lip synching.
Story: random, yet somehow cohesive. Just like the video, and I have to say your friend is immensely entertaining. (The purple contact lenses add a lot; did you try throwing that into her character design?)
Style: definitely there. And very good; it actually added to what was going on more than the video did.
Sound: needed fixing, but you can't be blamed for that. And has Noku ever considered voice acting? I think she'd be good at it.

Overall, very well done for a short. 7/10 and 4/5 from me, and congratulations on making daily 8th!

    Nice animatic

Art: good - sketchy, but that's okay.
Animation: acceptable level for an animatic.
Story: many elements typical of anime, but well told.
Style: evident, but needs to be refined.

Now it just needs the upgrade to full-fledged animation. If or when that happens, I'd recommend adding a few close-ups to the secnes. Watching two characters in the same spot can get dull after a while.

    Overall: 4/5, 7/10.

    MarkHansAvon responds:

Yeah, I guess I understand what you mean there... I do think it would probably do well at least colored, it would definitely be a lot more interesting.

Thanks for the review Dawnslayer. =)

    Good, but the FILESIZE...

I enjoy RHG, and this was well done in terms of style and animation. But a fight this short should not be six megs large. Please optimize the sound or use a shorter music clip so we don't spend more time waiting than we do watching. Thank you.

    liamdoode responds:

Yeah i was really trying to make it smaller, but i didnt see what was making it so big :/
