Not overly entertaining, but interesting concept

Good enough to keep it on NG. Kind of bland, though. What might make it more interesting is if you have "level-building levels," requiring a level we make to meet certain parameters. I give it a 2/5 at this point, but keep working at it.

Kwing responds:

Thanks! I'd like to make a game where you get limited pieces that you move into place but can't move once you begin play. I don't really see the point in it, though, as it would just be a Draw-Play rip-off, and Eggy's already making a 3rd one.

OW, my EYES...

Good job, nice use of optics. But...next time make a game that doesn't induce blindness before drinking age? Thanks.

OK for a first try

I give a "3" because it's your first game. Hope to see something a little more involving in the future.

SevenStudios responds:

Geh, maybe I'll stick to movies for now.

Okay

Personally I hate rhythm games, but for what it was I considered it to be good.

Excellent game!

Really enjoying the gameplay. Levels grow sufficiently more difficult as you progress, and the 3-D levels add a lot. (How do you do 3-D in Flash, anyway?) Plus, it was funny. I give this a 10 of 10!

Didn't like it

Nice concept, but needs major work on the physics for those of us who aren't hard-core cursor pilots. A game has to be playable to be entertaining. 4/10.

Nice twist

A unique element in the classic matchup game. Just gets tiring after a few 'oh-crud-why'd-I-do-thats'. I'll give props for effort and change of pace.

Crazy

An excellent concept, with fast-paced, intense gameplay. Personally I found it too difficult to avoid the saws--but that's me. I'm no hardcore gamer.

I'd recommend making the game a little smoother...and perhaps not quite as hard to look at. The blur of the backdrop got a little too hard to get past, especially when keeping an eye out for warning signs. A storyline would be a nice bonus, even though a game like this doesn't need one.

Great job overall. 9/10.

Maxwelldoggums responds:

ok, I'll fix some of that in the next version.

I liked it.

Great concept; perhaps a bit too challenging for some. Also tends to be long-winded. But an excellent RTS overall.

I am speechless

Okay...I confess. This game was so deceptive, so cunning, so bliningly ingenious...I had to cheat. Yet another amazing accomplishment in the Shift series.

Two things I had trouble with, though. One: not enough Portal-type jokes. Needs more of those paralells. And second...why Mel Gibson?! I was expecting something a little more--I don't know, Newgroundsy--for the unlockable character.

But other than that, great work. 10/10 easily.
