[Generic Trancy Song #1]

Switched quite abruptly

0:00-1:30: Awesome. Found myself moving with the beat.
1:31-2:25: Killed the mood. It was like listening to a completely different song.
2:26-3:20: Picked back up...
3:21-end: ...and I lost it again.

It's good quality, but the two different styles disrupt each other. Pick one and stay with it.

I enjoyed it

I agree with those before me that the vocals need some fine-tuning; I think leaving out some of the vocal "blips" would leave you guys better off. (Of course, those blips annoy me in any song.) Even so, the rhythm is exquisite, the bass and melody mix perfectly, and it's an excellent song overall.

Thanks for the review! We understand that the blips you speak of are a thing of taste. They're really used like an instrument and we thought that they matched the intro and transitions that they were in. We've worked a ton on our vocals and have a lot of ways to go, but this song isn't really reflective of our current talent.

What do you need other singers for? You're amazing!

Well-crafted piece; a beautiful, harmonious rendition that gives the listener the impression of treading on sacred ground. It's simple, and in this case simple works well. 5 Darnells, 10 stars, and a new favorite on my list.

Not your best, but still good

Loved the music, as always. The lyrics, however, felt a tad cliche, and didn't really grace my ears in the way you intended. An instrumental version of this might be just as good.

All the same, you guys are awesome. This song gets 9 and 4 from me.

Could be better

You guys need your own web site for people to go to. (And since Flash sites seem to be all the rage with musicians... ;D)

As for this song: it's good, but not quite there yet. A little more ambience or echo might help, and perhaps a slight increase in tempo. I liked the vocals, though; they seemed to fit well. 4 and 8 from me.

Still loving the music. Keep it up!

One thing went wrong here

The whole somg was well done, except for that one little transition around 1:40. The sudden break in tempo at that particular eighth-note threw me off; there should have been room for a whole note there in my opinion. Still, I liked it overall, and I'll give it a 5 and 9.
