Absolute no

You made a video, not a Flash. Videos go on YouTube. And furthermore, his name is spelt "Urkel" - as in with a "U" - so you can't be that big of a fan.

Fautzo responds:

You'll never beleive how much I care.

Here's why:

Flashy things don't give me problems, and I was about to go blind. Please, for the sake of not harming people unintentionally, don't post this stuff.

Amazing workmanship

Not only did you make this game look really entertaining, but the effort you put into the art is staggering. Anyone who uses Flash knows that scale of detail is very time-consuming. An excellent preview, and I look forward to seeing the final product!

fairypoet responds:

Thank you!
I'm glad you like it. Hopefully the game itself wont be an disappointment to you.

Serious is good

This step of "There she is" was very different, yes. But what is a good story without drama?

And besides, you're trying to send a message. I've been wondering since step 2 if cats and rabbits were a metaphor for a real-world issue, so I finally looked it up. (Thank you, Wikipedia.) It's a serious problem, and sooner or later you have to address it seriously - even if the message behind it is light-hearted.

Beautifully done as always. I'm sad to see this end with step 5, but at the same time I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

A job well done; let your brother know

Good premise, kept my attention. A little improvement on art and some vocal talent thrown into the mix would take this to a higher level. Tell Manual to keep working at it.

Simple, elegant, funny as heck

Classic slapstick humor, with a very simple style. Loved it; I'd like to see more of Bruce - perhaps with sounds and music next time.

Loved it

Very well done to everyone who was a part of this. You did a fantastic job.

How do people usually get involved with this stuff, anyway?

Stone-Steven responds:

I got involved with flash the same way you have.. i watched some. Then I looked further into it and made my own site blah blah blah. To get into something like this you join a flash based forum such as www.fluidanims.com :]

Good except for one thing

I didn't get the mushroom joke. For those of us who've never played Mario Bros., you may want to try something a little more obvious next time.

eddythanoob responds:

YOU'VE NEVER PLAYED MARIO!? OMG.........but yeah i'll try something different next time, Thanks.

You had my full attention

This was a very intriguing Flash, full of mystery and intense action sequences. Your ability in perspective is excellent.

There is room for improvement, I agree. My guess is your work would be amped up to a new level if you could do some of the art by hand. Also, it was difficult to hear the voices over the music at some points; work on balancing the volume of each. Other than that, I loved it. Keep up the good work.

Good for a beginning

You need to invest a lot of time in making this look "real." I would imagine parkour is harder to do with arms and legs that short. ( :-P ) Use the omnipotent powers of Flash to "build" characters rather than just draw them, and creat more believable environments. It takes time, effort, and a LOT of patience; but hey, it's still summer.

JamesHardy responds:

Im still working towards the stage of "building characters" as i have only just started doing animation And i do know its not good but hey isn't this the standard of an absolute beginner?
