It's not the kind of dubstep that I personally like, but you avoided the monotony that normally makes me hate it, so I can't say it was bad. For the genre, this was excellent work.

Amazing work, guys! I can actually recognize the distinctive style of each guitarist. Very well done.

Just one question: who was on drums?

RobSoundtrack responds:

Awesome!!! It is effectively one of my favorite things about the song too!
So many different tones
Thanks so much!

I did the drums (sequence)

Like others are saying, a full version of this would be fantastic. If there were four or five minutes of this noise, I'd download it in a second.

I feel this song lacks a consistent theme. I was loving the parts with the guitar, but for the parts in between those it was like I was listening to a completely different song. It's not bad by any means, but I think it could have been better.

ArcaneSoul responds:

Eh yeah. Whenever i make my dark songs like this they tend to be less melodic.

Im still learning so cut me some slack XD

Great track, but could use some work on mastering. Overall it was just too quiet, especially the vocals, and the guitar was too heavy on the right speaker at times. As for the vocalist, I'm not sure he's found his voice yet, although he is getting there. All that aside, everything sounds good. I look forward to hearing more from you.

Anyone else picture robot armies marching through the streets of an American suburb?

Anyway, not bad, but the three segments all sound pretty much alike. There needs to be a more dynamic buildup as the song progresses.

TBM responds:

I'll admit it was a copy and paste job, but I was getting bored of it and wanted to rush it out...

I'm not crazy about drum n' bass, but this was pretty darn good. Fived and downloaded.

It has been AGES since I've heard anything hip-hop that didn't make me want to gouge out my ears. And normally dubstep has the same effect. So the fact that you so successfully fused the two together that I not only enjoyed it, but actually downloaded it, is pretty damn impressive. Well done.

GrantBowtie responds:

Ya I know a few people who feel that way about hip-hop. Glad you like it man.

You were doing well until you started singing. The lyrics have no sense of rhythm or syllable balance and are trying too hard to fit inside the measures of the music, and ultimately the entire song suffered as a result. The music was done right, but the singing killed it.

Nevrosia666 responds:

Lol I'm pretty sure everyone will agree with you.

It's good, but...something was missing. The song sounded hollow for some reason; synthesized instruments, audio compression, not enough bass guitar - I can't place it exactly, but something is missing from this song. Still, pretty good; I've got it on my playlist now.
